This has become a staple in our house. We also keep a stock on hand in our motor home. It is my favorite soup. Add a salad and breadsticks and it makes a great dinner. It does take awhile for the beans to cook, but in a couple of hours you have the best soup ever.

Question: is the pasta cooked already when you put it in for the last 15 minutes? Seems like a long for already cooked pasta.

This soup takes a few hours for the beans to cook. it's worth the wait. My entire family loved this soup.
